Conditions treated

A Podiatrist can diagnose and treat a number of conditions including:

  1. Nail conditions (in-growing, involuted, thickened, fungal, etc),

  2. Skin complaints (verracue, corns, callus, fungal skin infection)

  3. Heel pain (plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, heel spur, tarsal tunnel syndrome, bursitis)

  4. Foot pain (morton’s neuroma, capsulitis, bunions, hallux limitus)

  5. Paediatric conditions (Os-good Schlatters, Sever’s, Frieberg’s disease)

Leonardo de vinci claimed the foot to be the ‘best piece of architecture in the world’. Your feet are a complex, functional device and require regular monitoring and maintenance if problematic.

Many people suffer with pain from their feet, ankles, hips and lower back which can be caused by poor foot alignment.

Do you suffer with:

  1. lower back pain

  2. hip pain

  3. knee pain

  4. shin splints

  5. ankle pain

  6. foot pain

  7. heel pain

  8. chronic or recurrent muscle injury (lower limb)

All of the above can be attributed to inadequate foot function (biomechanics).  If you have any of the above symptoms then call us to arrange a consultation.
