Pre and Post Op Rehabilitation

Successful surgery relies heavily on what happens during the pre and post operative stages. It is important during these stages to optimise strength, mobility, stability and balance. The better these are before surgery the better your rehabilitation potential will be.

Pre operative physiotherapy

Our experienced team of physiotherapist's will be able to provide you with appropriate and specific treatment in order to optimise your rehabilitation potential post surgery. Our physiotherapists will also be able to educate you and answer any questions you may have, in order to put your mind at rest and make you aware of what to expect post surgery.

Post operative physiotherapy

We will correspond with your consultant in order provide you with a progressive treatment programme specific to your needs. This programme may involve manual therapy, electrotherapy and exercise, in order to optimise your healing rate and help you return to sport or your normal activities as soon as possible.
