Dr Julian Widdowson

Dr Widdowson is the Lead Practitioner for Sports Medicine at Bath Rugby Club and CircleBath hospital. Dr Widdowson has worked with various athletes ranging from elite Olympic athletes and professional sports teams to the recreational sports person, treating a range of sporting injuries. He was Team Doctor to the England Rugby U16's for 10 years and joined the medical team at Bath Rugby in 2003. Most recently he has been the Team Doctor to the England A rugby team.
Other Sports Medicine posts include member of the Medical team for the Paralympic World Cup 2009, and team doctor to Wales Rugby League.  He is a tutor and examiner for the University of Bath Sports and Exercise Medicine MSc course and also for the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
