Our Podiatrists
Andy Fisher

With his own orthotic laboratory, Andrew is able to provide a full package of care from initial assessment and casting, to the production and fitting of prescription orthoses. His input into the production process ensures each orthotic matches the exact prescription and requirements of the individual.

Andrew qualified from the Wales Centre for Podiatric Studies, UWIC, Cardiff in 1976 and has a wealth of podiatric experience. He set up one of the first NHS Biomechanical Podiatric Laboratories in the North West and on leaving the NHS he has continued to work solely in the field of biomechanics and gait analysis, working alongside other health care professionals to treat a wide range of musculo-skeletal conditions including plantar fasciitis, shin splints, ankle pain, knee pain and generalised foot and heel pain.
He has treated elite runners and international sports people including rugby players, footballers and cyclists, using his skills in clinical diagnosis and prescription of orthoses to achieve the optimum outcome. He brings these same skills to his management of foot and lower limb problems in children and adults from all walks of life who present with painful lower limb symptoms.
With his own orthotic laboratory, Andrew is able to provide a full package of care from initial assessment and casting, to the production and fitting of prescription orthoses. Outside of work he enjoys watching Wales play rugby and also walking, either in the Shropshire countryside near his home or by the sea in Wales.
